In November 2018, Aaron Gormly from PRM Fire and Training held a forum for local Healthcare, Aged Care, and disability support providers in the Central West of NSW.
The objectives of the presentation were to inform attendees as to the 'draft' NSW Health Policy Directive ‘Fire Safety in Healthcare facilities’ which will supersede NSW Health PD 2010_24, and expand on the implications to providers in these areas.
PRM's presentation also touched on emergency planning pursuant to business operations and facility construction, and annual staff training requirements in relation to a compliant plan as per AS 4083/ 3745 2010.
The presentation finished with what are Annual Fire Safety Statements, and relevant changes following the amendment to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulations in 2017.
Thanks PRM, Lasts weeks forum was a great idea and there was valuable information shared. - Chris | Livebetter
